The chemical specialist (with access to your chemical library or a master library of millions of SDSs) can access and deliver an SDS to you via fax or email, or help you understand chemical hazards, exposure protection, fire response, proper handling and storage, first aid measures, spill cleanup and disposal, and what to do in case of an emergency. If necessary, the specialist can get a medical provider on the phone to assist in treating a chemical exposure.
